At CreekSide, we are always trying to run your business as best as we can. Looking at recent sales as well as sales data from last summer, we’ve decided to implement summer hours, effective July 11th through August 25th. Summer hours will be as follows:
Summer hours are common for many businesses. Our move is driven by the fact that in July and August, our sales between 8am and 10am Monday through Thursday do not even cover the cost of minimal staffing levels needed to open the store. Making this move helps us control our costs while still operating with the same level of service and product choice.
We recognize that for a few of our member-owners, this may create a short-term inconvenience. Much of our business early in the morning is for coffee and Danish and we’d encourage our members to frequent Elkins Perk instead.
